Process Plus performed the conceptual engineering and limited detail design engineering for a project to limit toluene emissions below 10 tons per year for a chemical plant in northeastern Illinois. The customer was also interested in recovering as much solvent as possible, with a resultant reduction in raw material and / or overall operating costs, as a means of offsetting the investment expense related to executing the project.
