Automation Entry Level Engineer

Provide automation solutions for our customers in the food processing, pharmaceutical, and specialty chemicals industries. PLC, HMI, and DCS programming. Generate Functional Requirements Specifications and test plans. Start up and troubleshoot control systems.

Requirements:

• Capable of leading a project with little supervision.
• Understand industrial processes.
• Experience with Windows HMI development, including VB Script, JAVA Script, HTML, XML or .NET a plus.
• PLC programming experience, preferably Allen-Bradley.
• HMI experience a plus (ex: Wonderware, Intellution, RSView).
• Experience in DCS systems Delta V, Siemens, or Honeywell TDC3000/Experion a plus.
• Understand the principles of relational databases, application interfaces, and Human Machine Interface design and implementation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel (~30%) to customer locations for startup support.
• Legal authorization to work in the USA on a full-time basis.
